O.S. left eye
Name of the Laboratory: e.g. Bausch & Lomb, Ciba Vision, Johnson & Johnson, CooperVision...
Brand Name: e.g. PureVision, Air Optix Aqua, Acuvue Advance, Biofinity...
Power (PWR or PW or Power) : Sphere (SPH on your box) : expressed in Diopters (d):
- a negative number if you are nearsighted, for example - 4.50d
- a positive number if you are hypermetropic, for example + 3,25d
If you are astigmatic and wear toric lenses, the power is supplemented by two other parameters:
Cylinder (CYL): expressed in diopters (d), for example -0.75d or -1.00d, which correspond to the value of your astigmatism.
Axis (AX): expressed in degrees, for example 160°, 110°.
Most soft contact lenses do not correct astigmatism except for 0.75d and above.
If you are hypermetropic, the power is supplemented by another parameter (Bifocal or multifocal or progressive lenses):
Addition (ADD): expressed in diopters (d), for example +1.50d or +2.00d. It is added to your correction for distance vision for near vision.
Diameter (DIA) or (Ø) : lens diameter expressed in mm, for example 14.2; if this data is not mentioned, it is because there is only one diameter for this lens.
Base Radius (BC) or (Base Curve) : radius of curvature of the lens expressed in mm, for example 8.6; if this data is not mentioned, it is because there is only one radius of curvature for this lens.
Color : The choice of color does not affect your correction parameters.
I wish to place an order identical to the previous one. How to do it ?
- Click on login at the top right of the home page
- Click on login
- Enter the email address and password of your customer account and click on continue .
- In the tab your last order click on repeat order.
I would like to order the same lenses but with a different correction. How do I do that?
You can place a new order by returning to the Home page (click on the lentimenocare logo in the upper left corner), then select the lens brand that suits you or type the name of the lens in the 'search' box. Finally indicate the new correction parameters and finalize your order.
I want to change lenses. What should I do?
If the correction of your eyes has changed or your lenses are not comfortable to wear, you must consult your ophthalmologist to readjust your lenses according to the new prescription.
He or she will determine the new measurements that will give you satisfaction. For this, lens trials are necessary as well as associated check-ups. Therefore, they cannot be performed remotely by our opticians.
Contact lenses are a medical device directly in contact with the eye (the cornea). An incorrect lens can cause serious damage.
